Press
Treehouse Sanctuary has received significant press coverage for our efforts to save this historic church, which was officially designated a historic landmark in 2004. Our mission to restore and revitalize this 100-year-old space has captured the community’s attention, highlighting its cultural importance and the urgent need for preservation.
History
The Treehouse Sanctuary is housed in a historic church that has stood for nearly a century, a cherished landmark in our community. Built in 1926 as the Church of Christ, it has served as a place of worship and connection for generations. In 1959, it became the Euclid Church, and later, in 1996, it was home to Iglesia De Dios Nueva Vida. For the past 20 years, however, the building sat abandoned, its once-vibrant halls quiet and in need of restoration. Despite this, its significance has not faded. Recognized as a historically designated landmark, the church remains a symbol of faith, resilience, and community. Now, in 2025, it begins a new chapter as the Treehouse Sanctuary. Through grassroots efforts, we are restoring this sacred space, preserving its history while embracing a vision of inclusivity and unity. Our goal is to create a thriving spiritual community that honors the past while fostering love, connection, and interfaith dialogue for the future.

“Been wondering what the plan was for this church! Thank you for saving it. We need more people like you coming in and seeing the value in the old instead of bulldozing everything to make condos.”

“My wife and I live just up the street from this stunning building. We recently wrapped up a four-year renovation on our 1920s colonial, which we’ve loved since buying in 2018. There’s an indescribable magic in breathing new life into a home with history. I can’t wait to see photos from your remodeling journey!”
