Press

Treehouse Sanctuary has received significant press coverage for our efforts to save this historic church, which was officially designated a historic landmark in 2004. Our mission to restore and revitalize this 100-year-old space has captured the community’s attention, highlighting its cultural importance and the urgent need for preservation.

History

The Treehouse Sanctuary is housed in a historic church that has stood for nearly a century, a cherished landmark in our community. Built in 1926 as the Church of Christ, it has served as a place of worship and connection for generations. In 1959, it became the Euclid Church, and later, in 1996, it was home to Iglesia De Dios Nueva Vida.

For the past 20 years, however, the building sat abandoned, its once-vibrant halls quiet and in need of restoration. Despite this, its significance has not faded. Recognized as a historically designated landmark, the church remains a symbol of faith, resilience, and community.

Now, in 2025, it begins a new chapter as the Treehouse Sanctuary. Through grassroots efforts, we are restoring this sacred space, preserving its history while embracing a vision of inclusivity and unity. Our goal is to create a thriving spiritual community that honors the past while fostering love, connection, and interfaith dialogue for the future.

Bringing a forgotten church back to life

Treehouse Sanctuary is a nonprofit spiritual community dedicated to universal love, inclusivity, and interfaith dialogue. Rooted in the belief that all paths to the Divine are valid, we honor the wisdom of diverse traditions while fostering a welcoming space for spiritual exploration, personal growth, and meaningful connections.

Located in a historic 100-year-old church, Treehouse Sanctuary is committed to preserving this sacred space and revitalizing it as a hub for reflection, celebration, and service. We offer a place for weddings, memorials, and life milestones, as well as gatherings that inspire compassion, justice, and unity.

As we rebuild our congregation, we invite all—regardless of faith or background—to join us in creating a community centered on love, respect, and shared humanity.

"A community-driven space, free from corporate influence."

An event at Treehouse Sanctuary is intimate, soulful, and full of character—nothing like a generic corporate hotel. It’s historic, personal, unforgettable.
